Someone in the fitness industry recently shared their revenue publicly, and it was significantly higher than mine. My first reaction? I felt like I was falling behind. Like everything I’d built wasn’t enough.
But then I started asking better questions. What are their margins? How big is their team? How much of their life are they trading for that number? Are they sleeping well? Do they have a relationship they’re proud of?
I’ve spent the past three years intentionally designing a life around peace and profit, not just revenue. I work four hours a day doing the things I love: coaching people, recording long-form content, and writing. I sleep well. I travel the world with my wife. And I had to remind myself that none of that shows up on a revenue screenshot.
In this episode, I talk about why comparison is one of the fastest ways to lose sight of your own progress, whether that’s in business, in your body, or in your life 👇
