I’m not going to lie to you.
I’m fired up about 2026.
Not in a “new year, new me” way. Not in a “this is finally the year I figure it out” way.
But in a “I built the foundation in 2025, and now it’s time to stress test everything” way.
Let me explain.
What 2025 Taught Me
Last year was about building systems. Getting the mindset right. Understanding that discipline beats motivation. That slow is smooth and smooth is fast.
I watched hundreds of our members do the same thing.
They stopped chasing quick fixes. They stopped waiting until they “felt ready.” They stopped hoping change would hit them like a lightning bolt.
They took action. Small, consistent action. And they built something real.
Alexandra at 60 finally broke free from a 44-year struggle with sugar. Not through willpower. Through support and a clear system.
Members in their 70s and 80s are doing cycling trips that people in their 30s can’t handle. Because they built the foundation through consistent strength training.
People who spent decades saying “I just need a meal plan” finally understood that training builds your body and nutrition reveals it. And they transformed.
That’s what 2025 was about. Building the foundation.
But 2026?
2026 is about going to the next level.
It’s Time to Stop Being Shy About What You Want
Here’s what I’ve noticed about the people who transform versus the people who stay stuck:
The ones who transform aren’t shy about what they want.
They don’t say “maybe I’ll try to lose a few pounds.”
They say “I want to be strong enough to carry all my groceries in one trip. I want to climb stairs without holding the railing. I want to feel energized when I wake up. I want to look in the mirror and actually like what I see.”
They’re specific. They’re clear. They’re unapologetic.
And you know what? That clarity creates momentum.
Because when you know exactly what you want, you stop wasting time on things that don’t matter.
You stop doing an hour of cardio six days a week when what you actually need is to lift heavy four times a week.
You stop eating “healthy” but never tracking your protein, wondering why you’re not building muscle.
You stop waiting for the perfect time and realize the perfect time was six months ago. The next best time is now.
What Actually Changes Your Body
Let me give you the straight truth that most people in the plant-based space won’t tell you:
Eating clean isn’t enough.
I know that’s not what you want to hear. But it’s what you need to hear.
You can eat whole food plant-based for months. You can lose weight on the scale. And you can still end up looking soft and feeling weak.
That’s called skinny fat.
And it happens when you reveal your body without ever building it.
Here’s the framework that actually works:
Training builds your body. Nutrition reveals it.
Most people over 50 never properly built their body. Women especially were told “don’t lift weights, do yoga, do cardio.”
So when they finally decide to get healthy, they focus on nutrition. The scale drops. But they don’t like what they see in the mirror.
Because they revealed what was there. But they never built anything underneath it.
You need both.
You need strength training to build muscle, strengthen bones, combat sarcopenia and osteopenia.
You need whole food plant-based nutrition to reveal that body you’re building while reducing your risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer’s.
And new research shows strength training helps prevent dementia.
So if longevity and quality of life are your goals, you need both.
Not just nutrition. Both.
The Real Transformation Isn’t Physical
Alexandra told me something that stuck with me.
She said, “I started talking about my pain to a couple friends. It dissipated. I became more resilient because I felt good about what I was doing.”
That’s the real transformation.
Yes, she leaned out. Yes, her arms got jacked. Yes, she broke free from sugar for the first time in 44 years.
But the bigger shift? She healed emotionally.
She had that difficult conversation with her mom that she’d been avoiding for months. And it was calm. Because she’d already healed.
That’s what happens when you stop using food to numb emotions. You actually have to feel them. Process them. Heal them.
And then they lose their power over you.
The physical transformation is just the proof that the internal transformation happened.
What I Want For You This Year
I want you to stop waiting.
Stop waiting until you feel “ready.”
Stop waiting until the timing is perfect.
Stop waiting until you have it all figured out.
Because here’s what happens when you wait: the challenge gets bigger.
I told this story before about a guy who came to us needing to lose 15 pounds. He said he wasn’t ready. He came back when he needed to lose 30.
He doubled his challenge by waiting.
Don’t do that.
2026 is the year you take ownership.
Not just of your health. Of your entire life.
You’re going to decide exactly how fit you want to be. How strong you want to feel. How much energy you want to have.
And then you’re going to build the systems to make it happen.
You’re going to stop being shy about asking for help from experts who’ve done this hundreds of times.
You’re going to stop trying to figure everything out alone.
You’re going to recognize that how you lose the weight is how you keep it off. So if you sprint to lose it, you’ll have to sprint to keep it off. But if you build sustainable systems while losing it, you can maintain it for life.
The Systems Are Already There
You don’t need to reinvent the wheel.
The systems exist. The frameworks work. The approach is proven.
Training builds. Nutrition reveals. Mindset makes it sustainable.
Lift heavy 4-5 times a week. Not cardio for an hour every day.
Eat whole food plant-based with adequate protein. Not just “healthy” without structure.
Work on your identity and mindset. Because you can have the perfect meal plan and workout program, but if you don’t do it, it doesn’t matter.
That’s the foundation you built in 2025.
Now in 2026, you stress test it. You push it. You see what you’re actually capable of.
This Is Your Wake-Up Call
One of our members told me her “why” for finally getting serious about her health.
She said: “I read Peter Attia’s book. He talks about how one of the four horsemen is going to get you unless you have a game plan. Your health won’t happen by itself. I thought, what is my plan? I’m doing bar classes, feeling tired in the afternoon, but I don’t have a plan. What about me?”
That hit me.
Because so many people are so concerned about everything else. Their work. Their family. Their friends. The world.
But they don’t have a plan for themselves.
This is your wake-up call.
What’s your plan?
Not just to lose a few pounds. Not just to “be healthier.”
Your plan to be strong, energized, capable, and alive for the next 20, 30, 40 years.
Your plan to avoid being the person who uses their hands to push up from chairs because their legs are too weak.
Your plan to be the 75-year-old doing cycling trips that 30-year-olds can’t handle.
What’s your actual plan?
Let’s Make 2026 Count
I’m going to be straight with you.
This year is going to challenge you. Life will throw curveballs. Your body will fight you. Your mind will try to keep you comfortable.
That’s part of the process.
But if you’ve built the foundation, you can handle it.
And if you haven’t built the foundation yet, now is the time.
Not six months from now. Not when it’s perfect. Now.
Because 2026 is the year you stop being shy about what you want.
It’s the year you take full ownership.
It’s the year you build a body that performs the way you want while looking the way you want.
It’s the year you extend the quality and duration of your life.
Not just existing. Living.
Fully. Completely. Without apology.
That’s what I want for you.
And honestly? That’s what I want for myself too.
So let’s do this together.
Let’s make 2026 the year we look back on and go, “That’s when everything changed.”
Here’s to building, revealing, and becoming everything we’re capable of.
Let’s go.
